Can You Sell On Amazon? Jatz Naran Says Yes.

can you sell on amazon jatz naran

So far in the Can You Sell On Amazon pieces we are doing, we have 2 other Youtubers who have sold (and selling) on Amazon through their FBA: Travis and Abby.

The third one is Jatz Naran. Now there are others (remember the criteria that went through at the start of this?). We are going to add one more. The other 2 Youtubers are solely into Amazon FBA whereas Jatz is someone who uses Amazon as well as other websites. We found that after a while non-specific Youtubers started to appear in search that were not specific to FBA.  Jatz was the top of these at the time of searching. So we are not checking out Jatz other pages- just FBA.

Jatz has 235k subscribers and an average video view of around 20k to 1.4m views- which seems to be a very large swing of views. So I would like to know why- why the swing. Is it the content, where it is promoted, are there any added efforts to promote. Because I don't get why:

  • "Easiest Way To Start Amazon FBA From Scratch" is 1.4m views and a year old
  • "How To Sell On Amazon In 2023 (Beginners Guide) is 128k and 4 months old
  • "How I Went From $4k to 1 Million. My Story" is 11k views and 1 month old

What you would expect does less views. What you didn't expect does tons of views.

They seem to be doing everything that you really want:

  • their main "opening" Youtube video is all about finding profitable niches on Amazon- a promotional video- which is fine and quite smart.
  • Next to the opening video are 2 promotional links- which again is great use of Real Estate space. Click on the link to the free training page and you get this:

Then further down we get what other people seem to miss- what you get and credibility boosters and a cool picture with Gary Vanyerchuk. All good things.

  • I like the title picture on his Youtube homepage which shows all the stuff that he is into.  A nice touch and adds personality without actually saying it
  • Theres Youtube shorts
  • Videos are well produced and cool thumbnails
  • Depending on the video there is a min bio but there are a lot of social buttons to contact Jatz. There are also limited links to see- so the focus is on what Jatz wants to show you/ click on

Can Jatz Naran sell more on Amazon or through his channel?

  • The above picture. Now I have re-entered Youtubes video html multiple times but the above picture always shows. This (according to Youtube) is the owners issue. Now if you want people to share your videos why aren't they being allowed to share? Oddly enough, the above video is the 1.4m views one- so maybe you get more views if you do this? I am unsure and it would be odd for Youtube to promote a video that clearly doesn't look good on a screen.

  • The above picture part 2 :) There seems to be a lot of Youtubers doing this. Sign up to a free webinar and watch a video of the person who you just came from a video watching. It must work as more Youtubers are doing it. But what I am finding is that they don't seem to be checking on what the public will see. The above picture is what happens when you go past the registration time for the free can you sell on Amazon FBA webinar which had a nice sign up page. I have gone up and down the page clicking on each register button but we get to the same picture above.

Now. Here is the issue with a lot of these webinar pages. I have come from a video that I have liked and I want to know more. Your video is not time sensitive- it is online until you take it down. So can the webinar be time sensitive? Yes if it gets removed at the time expiration. Also no- but it can be placed online through an email sub ("this is what you missed at the last free webinar"). So what happens to me when I try and find a register link/ find out more link. There is none. Now do I wait around, come back again and waste time? Maybe not. Do I click away and maybe not click on your free webinar link again? Possibly. It would be nice to know how many people have come to this page and then clicked away. Just for ease, if out of the 1 million people who have viewed the video and only 1% have checked? Thats 10,000 gone.

  • Your clothing brand? Didn't know that you had one until I looked deep into your Youtube description box. There are a couple of issues with this. First one, and a big one, you don't wear any of the clothing. There is no promotion within your videos about your clothing. There is no suggestion that your clothing is helping your channels out and is a great way for people to become "one" with the brand of Jatz. Any discounts for watching videos? Any new lines in time for certain events in the calendar or if you hit certain targets? Oh, your Jatz.co.uk link doesn't seem to work.
  • Does the mindfulness info go with the FBA and money videos? It would be a nice separate channel but still keeping with the Jatz brand. Same with some of the other videos- maybe channel them out- now you have multiple channels promoting one another yet keeping on topic
  • A lot related to the above points. But if you are promoting your social channels then you need to promote them in your videos as well. Apart from other in-videos being promoted there is no other way to be reminded about your social accounts
  • Related to the above point. What are the point of the videos? Is it to increase subscribers, increase affiliate revenue, increase promotion of other videos? There are no ways for people to know more about the Jatz. Is there any other way to promote subscribers? Is there any way to subscribe to a newsletter? Youtube is great for a promotional vehicle but there has to be a way to ask for subscribers- even figuring out how to increase subscribers- not just by asking for it at the end of a video. Because the problem with this? Its good for people to watch the full video but if people think that the end is just a rehash/ summary? They might just click away and then you have lost your promotional message.
  • Heard about Youtube safety? My term just made up :) but what it means is that people are safe when they watch a video. They don't need to do anything. What you have to start to do is allow people to come away from the video experience and start to interact. Once they start to interact they start to click on links. If they don't start to interact then they are more adverse to click on links because video is all they need.
  • There needs to be more social interaction. Find subscribers, find viewers, talk to them, discuss the term "can you sell on Amazon FBA"? More interaction brings people out of the video experience and makes the videos a little bit more natural and personailsed.

As always we wish Jatz all the best and wish him well with his endeavours.
