What Else Can Enes Yilmazer Do?
This is really cool. Enes Yilmazer seems to be the "new" crop of Youtubers who look around things and show their discoveries.
We think Enes is great and watch the videos when they come out. It is a nosy type of model- what do these rich people do and what do their homes look like. Its cool watching.
Enes has done this through Real Estate which seems to be the most obvious match for Youtube.
Actually many Realtors create videos to promote their homes. And Enes
is not necessarily the first to become a Youtuber showing homes.
Enes is slightly different because he focuses on higher priced homes. Things that we want to look inside. You also get a trickle down effect where you can take some inspiration from some of the designs (or completely avoid). This has been pointed out to Enes in that designers watch his shows and get inspiration.
There
are plenty other Youtubers that do what Enes does, but Enes is slightly
different. You have to watch and compare Enes to other Youtubers and the effects are minimal but they stand out quite strikingly so.
- the editing, camera work and Enes work well together.
- camera
work is done by Mikey who is also becoming a mini celebrity. They talk
back and forth about the homes. Mikey is us. Asking why something is so
expensive, or why something has been built a particular way
- Enes talks about certain things and the camera looks upon it. Obvious but many videos do not do this- or they show it from afar
- He
takes his production crew with him and they have a good time, we see
this. It is all about this- having fun, doing something that we wouldnt
necessarily do every day. Other Youtubers might also do this, but it is
never shown
- we get to talk to the owners, builders or designers of some of the properties
- he
talks with ease and talks informatively. As he walks through the
properties he does so with knowledge and ease like he is showing you
around his own home
- he seems to enjoy and admire what he is looking at rather than just pointing to something expensive
Some of the comments from Youtube?
- "The camera angles you guys capture make the experience unmatched. So exciting watching your videos"
- "I'm back to watch all these cinematic-like tour videos of this channels"
- "Editing, presentation and camera work A+ as usual"
Very...very few comments are negative.
Those points are the main ones and they gel between each other. It is difficult to replicate. There are many Real Estate Youtubers who are copying Enes's style but it is quite obvious and after a while it just doesn't fit.
Enes Yilzmer seems to be doing everything right. So how can we improve Enes or better still, the brand?
This is where it gets difficult because we don't really know. You start to ask questions like:
- does he own a Real Estate brokerage
- how
did he get into the house- does he get a commission for the sale/
rental? I don't think so, he is just being used to show the homes
because there is no small print to suggest anything else.
What
we do know (relating to Real Estate) is that he flipped homes and did
all the work for himself. So with this information he knows building
regs, how certain things are put together and how they were made. I
believe he also did have a Real Estate licence and created videos of the
properties no-one else wanted to promote in the brokerage. Him and
Mikey went round and promoted the homes through video. Enes became the
highest earning broker at that brokerage
He does have Enes Plus:
I am not 100% sure what Enes plus is.
I am also unsure of the frequency of the videos posted as (at the time
of wiring) the last one was posted last month. It seems like the main
channel but small in house price? But again the content type is quite
blurry.
Apart from the videos we don't really know other ventures Enes
Yilmazer is into. They are not promoted on the videos thus we are
assuming there isn't anything else (but clearly there probably is).
I don't think that it comes to anyone's surprise that structuring of the channels seems to be the main one.
So: Enes Plus?
What
is this? For me I would not post housey looking at videos because that
is confusing- because then what is the main channel about. I
always figured "plus" means additional- not being difficult, but this
is additional content from the content that you have already seen. It means:
- behind the scenes footage.
- It is introducing your crew and doing more "crew enjoying the area" videos.
- It is a Q&A; live session after the video has gone live.
- It is answering peoples questions that they have posted (Podcastable as well as video?).
- It is talking more the the builders etc.
- It is more community building
As
you start to watch the videos you get a little bit more of what Enes
could do- or at least ideas that seem to compliment the channel.
Steps to increase Enes

- Enes Yilmazer clothing. Now don't laugh at this one, but Enes always looks presentable in his videos. The crew also look comfortable. So wouldn't it be different to find Enes Signature clothing?
Nightlife clothing, formal wear, dining wear? Also what the crew use to
relax on holiday- Enes Relax. Or Serin (Turkish for cool). This can
also be increased to Enes Signature holiday suitcases and small bags.
- I am unsure why there is no website to promote some of the products that are "featured" in the videos. We see certain fragrances, hair products, soaps that a lot of these higher end home have.
There is a market for this (certain dresses that the Royals wear have
been sold out within weeks of them being seen in them). Many times Enes
and Mikey have commented on the various fragrances but thats it. This
could be affiliate compensation or direct access to the companies (drop
shipping).
- How about back to home flipping. Higher end homes.
Could be a separate channel following your process in building/
renovating the home. Or you are overseeing this and other people are
renovating. Then you do the tour of your own property.
- Enes as a brand could include other home related ventures. Staging, listing, website promotion, home improvements- an all in one company that is trust worthy. It doesn't have to be home improvements but staging and listing could easily be fitted into the Enes umbrella.
- Mini Enes. This is like a franchise but can you train others to do what you do-
stage a home, talk about the home and promote it? They could even offer
packages to home buyers and sellers of the various services to that
area
- Carrying on from the franchise I think a missed opportunity would be to have seminars, products and a yearly expo.
It has been said that designers watch your videos so why not congregate
them together into a yearly expo/ seminar? There must be new techniques
coming out yearly- how are these to be done? Can designers/ stagers/
builders talk to high priced home sellers? The scope is quite large.
Like always, we hope you do well and keep up the good work.
