Glucotrust

glucotrust

Glucotrust (non affiliate link) is high on the Clickbank chart. It jumped off and came back on. It has some impressive stats (according to Clickbank) and here they are:

  • average cost per click is 92c
  • average sale is $143.01
  • conversion rate- 0.64%

Again. I don't understand why people are suggesting that the conversion rate is awesome. It just doesn't seem to be that way. Its ultimately suggesting that out of 100 people you send then maybe less than 1% is going to convert. Wouldn't it be better if that conversion rate was slightly higher- you would have happy affiliates and product owners.

Anyway.

So what does the Glucotrust website look like?

It looks...ermmm...OK. it must be converting so who is laughing right :)

I like:

  • the text is nice and not harsh which seems to complement the message
  • theres lovely natural ingredients...theres actually quite a few of them
  • there s a simple buy area that is very clean
  • some pictures
  • some bonuses

Then we have:

When you look at Glucotrust...do you trust them to buy?

Again, this is not saying anything about the product. We are coming at this from a customer perspective. Would you buy if you went onto the sales page. Is it doing enough to convince you to buy?

I would say it is not. And this is why the conversion rate is so low. We might be a while, but there are some big issues which jump right out at you:

  • Sleep? My concern is that it also promotes sleep. Unsure if it can be reformulated into a sleeping aid, but adding this to a blood sugar mediation automatically raises flag because people are concerned about tiredness. Can you use it at work? Is it a sleeping aid? Now it seems like the effect is to be complimentary to the main blood sugar "product" but it doesn't come across this way.
  • The text and pictures. There seems to be very little text and references and the pictures are oddly placed:

The above picture shows the plants etc to the outside of the screen, you can totally miss them. But then you have minimal amount of text explaining what some of the nutrients do. There's no nutritional information like amounts, references, how much do you need (there are some metals in that product list, how much is the daily recommended amount?). Who can't have it- Diabetics already on medication?

  • I am also unsure what Glucotrust comes in- a powder, tablet, liquid? It doesn't say (or I can't find). And on top of that, you don't actually see the product apart from the bottles. Also, how many X (pills?) are within each bottle?
  • Popup. I hate this popup:

I was going to save this to last but it just got annoying. You exit out if it, but...anytime you go to the back button or close to that area it comes back. Once or twice maybe, but every time is annoying. It might work I don't know, but after a while it made the site unprofessional.

  • Testimonials. All websites that sell anything need testimonials. Physical products more so- especially ones with large claims. I can not find any on the website. For a product that has been out for some time, you would have expected something to be mentioned online. Then we have...
  • Amazon. Are you on Amazon? It looks like the same product:

Theres comments, theres different pricing. If someone else is selling online instead of you then you could promote on Clickbank that yours is the genuine product- expect no imitations etc. Only because if bad reviews are going to show on Amazon it might affect your Clickbank sales. However, if it is not someone else, then you probably need to align your pricing.

  • Bonuses. I like bonuses but I find that bonuses need to be related to the product. These are kinda similar but Liver Cleanse? Super foods? i thick it is odd/ tacky to have them. Smoothies just passes because it is not in competition with your main product.
  • Stop with the pop up
  • Price. Make sure that one of the product buys are "best sellers", "recommended" or "most bought".

  • The footer. It contains information about testimonials, even though there aren't any. But it also shows this one little thing:

If you can't read it (you can't copy and paste the text), it says within those lines of text: "James Walker is a fictional character and is a pen name."

James Walker is the name of the character at the start of the sales page holding a bottle of Glucotrust. But why? Why not have the owner? It would be more authentic right? But having a possible photoshop character then questions what else could be photoshopped right? Even though everything might be completely fine, that little bit of doubt can be quite loud.

As always we hope Glucotrust all the best.
