WholeSaleDesignerHandbags.com

wholesale designer handbags

WholeSaleDesignerHandbags.com is a cool idea. I am unsure of who owns it (update, it could be Victor). At the footer of the page it is VAB Ventures (a company dealing with different niches online). But contact information is Jana Harris. The signature seems to be VAB but unsure.

Anyway. This website is a good idea and it seems to have some affiliates following (through Clickbank). Average sales price is $17 from a $39 area price point at 50% commission.

  • the affiliate signup seems to have most things you want. Coupled with the idea that it is saving customers money. So $39 for potential hundreds in savings seems to be a good proposition
  • the main sales page is clean with enough pictures
  • theres video
  • theres a phone number (which is quite rare with some affiliate products)
  • it seems to be updated for the year which is a huge scam reducer

So all is pretty peachy right? No way we can help WholeSaleDesignerHandbags.com?

Unfortunately, even with a good USP, you find that customers aren't the ones directed by the text- the eproduct creator is.

?

When you read through the text you get a feeling that the creator wants you to know everything about wholesale stuff- which is cool. But also you find that there is an assumption being made that it doesn't actually address- and when it does, doesn't do it that well.

So in no order:

  • Text. It is small. For my large monitor it is small, for a mobile device it will be ant size. Roughly 60%+ of online orders are made through mobile the text size might need to be increased a little. You also need to space some of the paragraphs out- especially when you check mark some. They seem to blend into one another
  • You. Again a common issue, but who are you? At the start you talk in first person stating your name is Victor. But it would be nice to see a picture of you. It would be nice to see some of the products bought by you. Like the video is cool and snappy. But I think there needs to be a person behind this website or at least VAB Ventures which would suggest a company is therefore in charge- increasing trust.
  • Impossible. if you use this word in a sub title then in the same title there needs to be an extra bit of wording like "...unless you know this technique". People speed read and might see that the designers are impossible to get so what is the point of your product? Also, are you allowed to mention designer names/ brands?
  • The text below is the main issue with this salespage

You do everything in your power to explain why your site is not a scam and that you vet everything within your product. But in doing so it seems sketchy- even though it is probably not.

There has to be flags to say (subconsciously in the mind of the visitor) this is no scam. So:

  • a small blurb from a wholesaler that they know you or they have been vetted. If you don't want to give away their name just blur it out
  • make up your own seal of approval badge and give it to wholesalers that you have vetted them, then you can screen shot that on their website to use on your with permission
  • make a list of the procedures that you go through to vet these companies. You state on the supplier listing page that they undergo a screening process, so what is it? Even an oil change company close to us has a 15 step inspection- which they list. If gives authentication and trust.

I had a look around and only found one reference to the WholeSaleDesignerHandbags.com and it was from Saleshoo which you can find here.

They didnt care about the price, they just wanted to know if it was OK to use. So with all the info on the page, people are still unsure. But following the discussion you find that there is email support and questions answered- people were happy dealing with WholeSaleDesignerHandbags.com.

Then we go onto the next issue which follows on from this.

Testimonials.

You need to ge more, or get someone to video themselves. AOL email addresses (even though people are still using them) are old and I don't think it is good to hyperlink them :)

  • Bonuses/ Positives. I like that you get all that is listed. But upon reading it, some points are similar to another- Quality, vetted are something similar. What you don't puff up is the idea that people get free phone and email support. You also offer lifetime updates which is a huge deal. You don't need too many positives if your directory is just vetted listings, that is what people want. What you do want is the backup/ support that people are searching for.
  • Price. Now I might get some hate for this, but are you sure that $39 is the highest that you can go? Possibly with a little tweaking of the sales page you might be able to increase the price, espeically if people are saving hundreds on a product. But again, trust in your product is going to be the main motivator.
  • BBB. You are with the BBB so can you list some of the comments or their badge further up the screen? Again a small bit of text is hard to see especially if you are zooming through the text. Maybe this should be a subheader? Also, make sure the BBB link works, I couldn't get it to work.
  • Screenshot. Can you take a picture of the product. Now when you show the products being listed and what discount people get is that what people see with the product or is that what you have created? You state "This is a VERY SMALL portion of the items and brands available. There are over 60 suppliers in the directory, each with their own inventory.". So what do you actually see? Is there a membership page, what does it look like?
  • Articles. Remove the article at the bottom of the screen, it doesn't seem to improve the site. But maybe state that there are X amount of articles (being updated) on the membership site.

We at Jasonera.com hope you all the best in your future endevours.
