How Is The Sugar Defender Website Selling So Much Product? Can It Sell More?

sugar defender

Sugar defender how been out now for a while. It is a natural supplement for blood sugar control. According to Clickbank it has:

  • 65% commission rate
  • Better commission structure if you can throw more traffic at it
  • A EFC of $1.22- which is the earnings per click- a slightly OK reading if something is doing well. So it is dependent upon how many people are sent to the product by how many bought. Similar to a Gravity score. A positive number means you are making money.

Affiliate tools are:

  • Link builder
  • Tracking Pixels
  • Which country the product is being sold the most in and on which device (Mobile by a long shot at the moment)
  • A do not ship to country list
  • Banners- they state top performing but there isn't really any stats to show which one works best in which environment. We also couldnt open them, unless you become affiliated with them?
  • Email swipes- but again, couldnt see them

The Sugar Defender landing page.

The main page of Sugar Defender is very clean and to the point. That is what you want. You want to get out of the way and allow people to buy your product. It has a large title, video and then a buy now button.

Great.

It also has a small paragraph about the creator and a small signature. Nice that it give a little weight to the trustworthy aspect of the site.

We go next to the secondary tag line which is in a cool graphic. So this would be the subheading. Instead of placing it under the main heading they have split it up,  a nice idea. Because it also comes with a buy now button (all the buy now buttons are yellow) and we have bullet points of the main positives of the product.

Then we have nice colour pictures of the ingredients and their bullet pointed affects.

Bonuses

Coming in a pop out window. Bonuses come next, 2 of them, tea remedies and a diabetes book.

We then have a blood sugar formula and a link too...another page but a copy of this one and at the product. We also have scientists picture and a link to discover more about the natural ingredients. That takes us toooo....A copy of this page and directly to the bottles.

End of the main page

We then have a click to order the bottles and a recommendation of 96% of their customers buy- 6 bottles.

Then at the bottom we have scientific data linking to articles about the ingredients used and their relevance to blood sugar management. Its cool that the titles/ logos of the journals/ sites are also shown.

So how can you improve on a page that is already doing well?

That is the ultimate question right? But reading through the copy and how it links all together, that $1.22 could probably be increased quite easily.

But. Have you noticed the lack of copy and content within the actual page? This suggests that Sugar Defender seems to be angling for pay-per-click ads. Or, the amount of pre-selling would have to be high for conversion.

And when we place "sugar defender" into a search engine we find that it is overrun with PPC ads.

The cost thus of your PPC would increase due to competition and the chance of getting high with SEO is going to be difficult. However, if a lot of people are aiming for PPC then the low hanging fruit of SEO might be wide open. The problem you will have is getting past the competitive "diabetes treatment" keywords.

Our main issues for change would be the following:

  • Who rated it #1? A link or reference to this would increase trust
  • Video. Does the video work better if it is instant start to it? I know that we just scrolled past as it wasn't playing and thus didn't have any words for us to stop and listen. Because if it runs through Youtube instant play it will also increase views and chart placement
  • Breakthrough. Why is it a breakthrough and why haven't scientists thought of it before hand? A nice picture of the founder ads trust. A little bio/ statement of credentials would be cool. A video of their journey would also be better as it show a "I am like you too" type of journey and increases sales.
  • The "Are you suffering from midday energy crashes..." etc doesn't seem to be related to blood sugars if you don't know the two are linked. A "Did you know midday energy crashes...are caused by irregular blood sugars" might be more direct.  What is there now works as a sub headline, but when it is referred to in "Benefits" then it needs to have a blood sugar link
  • The ingredients are nice. But would it be better if a quick drop down of what they can do and who said it would add trust and link the scientific texts a bit more. So Guarana "Stimulates your metabolism". Anything more than that?
  • The bonuses. These are nice related bonuses that offer very little in their positives. Like what does the Ultimate Tea Remedies do? What remedies, just tea or many teas? Same goes with "Learn to manage diabetes". By whom and how can it help? It would also be nice if they were in the same style/ logo design as Sugar Defender.
  • Formula- needs to be linked to something rather than the same page. However if this is getting sales well, sure :) However, it sounds like the formula is just the natural ingredients placed in the bottle? So maybe this could be the page of ingredients and listed positives?
  • Natural ingredients. Then this could be the page of natural ingredients? But instead of discover more, maybe "buy now" would be better. "A unique team of health and industry professionals dedicated to unlocking the secrets of happier living through a healthier body." This doesnt really make too much sense unless you can see the people who created Sugar Defender. But it doesn't so unsure what it is related to. Even the top of the page states "benefits" but brings you directly down to the midday blood sugar box.
  • The unauthorized website clause is difficult because the product is so well advertised from PPC and Content then how do you know if they actually are authorized?  Do you offer a badge? Even the FAQ doesnt state where the offocial website is with: "...please buy from the official website only."
  • Testimonials. Unsure why the testimonials are not on the main page. Clicking on testimonials brings them up in the main page. OK. Right. So if you click on order, you get to the order area but under that is the main page followed with additional stuff. Wonder if this helps? Because we also have an FAQ, so why isn't that on the main page. So is Sugar Defender making more money with FAQ and Testimonials on the order page rather than the main page? The testimonials need buffing up with screen grabs of people holding the bottle, reviews online, Youtube videos of people using the product and giving their view. There's 2000 reviews, these are the 5 best ones- or a link to more- just a page of positives reviews.

As per always we wish Sugar Defender all the best
